1. Who we are

Maisson Prints (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at www.maissonprints.com. We sell digital art prints and physical prints fulfilled worldwide through a print-on-demand partner.

2. What information we collect

We collect only the information we need to sell you a product:

Account information— email address (required for passwordless sign-in), optional display name, phone, and shipping address if you choose to save one to your profile.
Order information— email, shipping address (for physical prints), the items you purchased, purchase amount, and the Paddle transaction identifier. Shipping address is captured at checkout and stored only for orders that require it.
Payment information — we do not store or process payment card details. All payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle's own privacy policy governs how they handle card data.
Communication preferences— whether you opted in to our newsletter.
Technical information— IP address, browser type, pages visited, referral source. Used only for aggregate analytics and security monitoring. We do not build advertising profiles.

3. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and send authentication codes.
To process your order, deliver digital files, and ship physical prints to the address you provided at checkout.
To send you transactional emails (order confirmation, download ready, shipment tracking).
To send you marketing emails only if you explicitly opted in to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
To comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations related to the sale.
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

4. Third parties we share data with

We only share the minimum data needed to fulfill your order or run the site. We do not sell or rent your data to advertisers.

Paddle(Merchant of Record — payment processing, tax collection, refunds). Receives your email, billing country, and purchase amount.
Prodigi (print-on-demand fulfillment, physical orders only). Receives your full shipping name and address, phone number (if provided), the SKU and artwork to print, and our internal order reference.
Supabase (database + authentication). Stores your account, orders, and shipping address.
Cloudflare R2 (download hosting). Stores your purchased digital files so you can re-download them from your account.
Vercel (website hosting). Serves the site from global edge servers.
Resend (transactional email delivery). Receives your email address and the email content we send you.

We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or to defend our legal rights.

5. How long we keep your data

Account data— for as long as your account is active. You can delete it at any time by emailing privacy@maissonprints.com.
Order records— kept for at least 7 years as required by tax and accounting law, even after account deletion.
Newsletter subscribers— until you unsubscribe.
Logs and analytics— typically 30 to 90 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request deletion of your data (subject to our legal obligations).
Object to or restrict certain kinds of processing.
Receive your data in a portable format.
Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies for authentication and cart state. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. International data transfers

Our service providers are located in multiple countries, including the United States and the European Union. By using our site, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in those countries. We only work with providers that offer appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

9. Children

Our service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service evolves. When we make a material change, we'll update the “Effective date” at the top of the page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
