Print Licence Agreement

What this licence covers

When you purchase a digital print from Maisson Prints, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the artwork file as described below. This licence is granted to the individual or business entity that completed the purchase.

Permitted uses ✓

• Personal spaces. Print and display the artwork in your home — bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, home offices — in any size the file supports.
• Business interiors. Print and display the artwork in commercial premises you own or lease: offices, retail spaces, clinics, studios, hospitality venues. A single purchase covers one physical location.
• Client projects (interior design). If you are an interior designer or decorator, you may purchase and use a print as part of a paid client project. Each client property requires a separate purchase.
• Non-commercial digital display. You may display the artwork on screens in private or business contexts (digital photo frames, internal presentations, screensavers).
• Personal social media. You may share photos of the artwork hung on your wall on personal social media accounts.

Prohibited uses ✗

• No resale of files. You may not sell, sublicence, lease, or otherwise distribute the digital files to any third party, whether for free or for payment.
• No resale of printed copies. You may not print and sell, gift-to-sell, or commercially distribute copies of the artwork (physical or digital).
• No print-on-demand products. You may not upload the artwork to print-on-demand services (Redbubble, Merch by Amazon, Society6, Zazzle, Printful, Printify, etc.) to sell or distribute on physical products.
• No merchandise. You may not reproduce the artwork on physical goods intended for sale — mugs, tote bags, clothing, phone cases, stationery, etc.
• No stock or asset libraries. You may not include the artwork in stock-image libraries, asset packs, template marketplaces, or design resource collections.
• No AI training. You may not use the artwork files to train, fine-tune, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning model.
• No alteration for redistribution. You may not modify the artwork and redistribute or resell the modified version.

Number of locations

A single purchase licence covers one installation location — one residential address or one business premises. If you wish to display the same artwork across multiple locations (e.g. a chain of offices), please purchase a separate copy for each location or contact us for a multi-site arrangement.

File ownership and copyright

This licence grants you the right to use the artwork — it does not transfer ownership of the copyright. The artwork and all intellectual property rights remain with Maisson Prints and the original artist. You may not claim the artwork as your own creation.

Printing quality and liability

Our files are delivered at 300 DPI and are print-ready. The actual quality of your physical print depends on the print service, paper stock, and printer you choose. Maisson Prints is not responsible for colour discrepancies caused by third-party printing services, monitor calibration differences, or paper choices.

Refunds and digital delivery

Because digital files are delivered immediately after purchase, we are unable to offer refunds once a download link has been issued. If you experience a technical issue — corrupt files, wrong product delivered, or download link not received — contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will resolve it at no charge.

Licence termination

This licence terminates automatically if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination you must destroy all copies of the artwork files in your possession. Maisson Prints reserves the right to enforce this licence and pursue appropriate remedies.
